7 minute Moonstone immunity meditation

Like oil that keeps your food from burning, Soma is the oily coating of our body cells that protects our health.
Our main organs that both connect us to and protect us from the outer world, need a fair supply of Soma: our skin, the lining of our nose, the lining of our bowels. Our spine, connected Nervous System and the outer (immunity) layer of our cells are in need of Soma too. In Vedic, Soma translates as the Moon, symbolising feminine, nourishing energy. An energy that isn’t limited to the physical body only. She fuses the mental, physical and spiritual body together with her oiliness. In the mind, she manifest as the sweet tones to your mindset. Feelings of contentment and gratitude. She forms a gentle, watery cloud, so our spiritual body can bounce back from the heat of speed, competition and deadlines.
There are two external ways to up our Soma supplies.
One is through food in the Earth and Water category (healthy fats, protein rich grains with B12, clean proteins, root veggies and juicy, sweet fruits). Once properly digested these nutrients are transformed into Ojas, or replenishing energy. Another way is a peace-seeking, (self-) service minded way of processing conversations, events and impulses. Juicy food for thought leads to a rich, confident and stress-free mindset. Which, in return, benefits our productivity on the long run through a well functioning immune system.
The Pineal Gland (water organ) is a key player in how we manage stress and thus, the quality of our immune system. The cute, little, pine-shaped organ is positioned between our eye-brows, or third eye, and is responsible in regulating our Melatonin supplies.
Melatonin, in return, delivers a regular sleep cycle, which supports our body to run all its healing and restoring tasks while we’re asleep.

Recharge your Pineal Gland to support healthy sleep and immunity
This meditation will benefit you most when practiced in the dark.
SET A TIMER. This Meditation should last at least 7 minutes. There is no breathe control. Purely awareness, which will transform into effortless presence. Alarm with a calm ringtone, preferably birds or a gong, is a nice role out of your practice.
MOONSTONE. • optional • Moonstones frequency is related to the Water Element, and is believed to have nourishing, balancing qualities, powerful enough to transform toxins and toxic thoughts into “Ojas”, an oily substance that serves us with juicy, smooth and replenishing energy.
SIT COMFORTABLY. Knees lower than the hips, legs in any comfortable position. You may choose to lift your seat with a cushion or a yoga block. Rest your hands on your knees, hand palms up. Place the Moonstone in the center of your handpalm, and have the tips of your thumb (space) and middle finger (fire) touching.
VISUALISE. As if it were Moonrise, the colour of a Moonstone is rising up and around you. Breathe in and really zoom in to the radiance of the Moonstone. As if you were becoming one with it’s healing and transforming qualities.
INHALE. The frequency and light of the Moonstone enters your body through the 5 senses. Your skin, nose, ears, eyes and tongue are activated.
PAUSE. At the top of your inhale, gently keep your breath inside of you. All frequency, collected from the 5 senses, comes together at your Pineal Gland (3th Eye, between your eyebrows).
EXHALE. Feel how the Pineal Gland thanks and then exhales all frequency back through the 5 gates (skin, eyes, nose, ears and mouth), into the Moonrise around you.
REPEAT. Practice 10 rounds of in- and exhalations, including the gentle pause at the top of the inhale. A full breath is 1 round. To close off, after your last exhale, you inhale - yet you let go of all breathe control. The breathe is just silently with you. Shift all your awareness back to the Pineal Gland, and feel how the Moonstone is still symbolically there. From a cute, little, pine shape it slowly expands until all of your brain is enjoying a Moon-bath. Stay here until your alarm tells you time’s up, or (preferably) longer. If you find yourself at the days end, you may do this last phase stretched out on your back.
